Something Old & Something New

“The Human Embodiment Of A Pumpkin Spice Latte..”

Hello, hello, hello! The first outfit post of the year, and low and behold it’s an up cycled outfit from a few years ago. I’m trying to post things i wear ‘normally’ and not just the times when i’m getting dressed up for this, that or the other. On this very cold and blustery day, I met up with an old school friend for a morning of major catch up’s over food and far too early glasses of wine, we took photos, revelled at how old we were getting and laughed about all the changes that life has brought since we first became friends in year 8, we also went to get my nose jewellery changed as i stupidly thought it would be a good idea to change the jewellery myself and subsequently could not get the stud back in. Safe to say it ended up having to get half re-pierced at Cold Steel (who were phenomenal by the way!) for only a tenner including a new piece of jewellery, bargain right. If you zoom in close enough to the photos, you may even be able to spot a lovely spot of crusted blood adorning my piercing.

I also met up with Kristabel for a wee blog catch up and impromptu photo session along Primrose Hill, which for the record, has some of the most delightful and colourful houses i ever did see! It was wonderful as always and it’s really nice to discuss blogging with someone who has been doing it for way longer than I have and is much wiser than I am!

How has your new year started? I’ve mostly been spending my time experimenting with Korean cooking, working at my desk, or working at one of the many quiet coffee haunts in Liverpool. I’m excited for 2016, I can feel it in my body, bones and even the tips of my tippy-toes that it’ll be a pleasant year for us all. I have a huge blog re-branding in the works most of which i’ll be doing myself to ensure something a little more unique so i’m super excited for that! Here’s to a week of productivity, hard work and a little relaxation.

Amazing outfit, love the turtleneck!! I have a good feeling too that 2016 will be a pretty good year for all of us too. With all the crappy things that happened in the world in 2015, I hope 2016 serves as a redemption year.
