… And a Huge Scarf
Firstly, thank you all so much for your kind words about my last post on Solitude and Singleness in your twenties, it’s encouraging to know that there are others out there feeling the same, and I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s day, whatever you chose to do, or not do!
Valentine’s day or Galentine’s day in my case, was spent in a very pleasant coffee shop eating Guiness Chocolate Cake, drining endless Flat White’s and wrapping up the writing portion of my thesis (hurrah for working and playing simultaneously!) with some new friends (also hurrah for making friends finally!). Speaking of new friends, these photo’s were actually taken pre-coffee and cake by Domnica, who runs a pretty sweet Architecture blog, for some reason, i’m drawn to architecture folk who are good with cameras like a moth to a flame.
The weather here has been absolutely freezing, and i’m trying to keep the winter blues at bay with bright (as bright as someone who loves black can be) with colourful accents like these burgundy tights that I picked up from Primark for a mere pound, along with this huge but very fluffy scarf which was only two pounds. Bargain hunter extraordinare and broke (but savvy) student goals right?
Now enough procrastination by way of blogging and editing photos, and back to InDesign, just a few more days till i submit, wish me luck!
